COUNTRY SPECIFIC NOTES

Only the governorates of Egypt were labeled in the birth place variable. All other countries are recoded 995 and labeled "abroad".
The prres_gov classification follows the Guide of Administrative Units in Egypt for the year 2010 as indicated by CAPMAS.
